A digital painting of one of my most favorite genres of music...Mexican Mariachi. I tried to capture in this interpretation the color, flavor, mood, and excitement of this highly emotional form of music. De Colores is a very popular song in the Spanish-speaking world describing "colors" as they relate to different aspects of life. Color definitely defines this depiction and helps illustrate the song.

I have been interested in art ever since I was six years old in my native rural Kansas. I always knew what I wanted to be in life...and that was to be an artist.
