A vintage movie poster of ''Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom'', a 1984 American action-adventure film directed by Steven Spielberg and produced by George Lucas. It is the second installment in the Indiana Jones film series, following "Raiders of the Lost Ark" (1981), and it features Harrison Ford reprising his iconic role as the adventurous archaeologist Indiana Jones.

The film is set in 1935, a year before the events of "Raiders of the Lost Ark," and it opens with a thrilling nightclub scene in Shanghai. Indiana Jones, accompanied by his loyal companion Short Round, portrayed by Jonathan Ke Quan, and nightclub singer Willie Scott, played by Kate Capshaw, finds himself embroiled in a dangerous quest to retrieve a stolen artifact known as the Sankara Stones.
